Yahav Lichner

Yahav Lichner is a senior international affairs and government relations leader with over two decades of experience working at the intersection of the United Nations, governments, and global institutions. He currently serves as Director of the Washington, D.C. Office of UNICEF, where he leads strategic engagement with governments, policymakers, and partners to advance global priorities for children.
Throughout his career, Yahav has held senior roles across the UN system, including leadership positions at UNICEF and UNFPA. His work has focused on shaping global policy agendas, strengthening multilateral cooperation, and building long-term partnerships across regions including Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and North America. Previously based in London and New York, Yahav has advised governments and senior UN leadership on sustainable development, humanitarian response, health, human rights, and international cooperation. He has also served as a visiting lecturer at King’s College London, contributing to academic discourse on law and global governance.
