New York, NY – June 9, 2025. Faces of Impact joined leaders, advocates, and supporters at CaringKind’s 29th Annual Forget-Me-Not Gala, held at Cipriani 42nd Street. With more than 600 guests in attendance, the evening raised $1.5 million to fund Alzheimer’s and dementia caregiving programs across New York.
As Founder of Faces of Impact, Artem Shestakov attended to highlight the importance of visibility for Alzheimer’s care and advocacy. Faces of Impact’s mission remained clear: connect people, amplify stories, and bring recognition to those driving meaningful change.
Honoring Changemakers
The gala recognized outstanding leaders in dementia care and advocacy:
Dr. Susan Beane, Executive Medical Director at Healthfirst, received the Connect2Impact Award for advancing accessible, whole-person healthcare.
Peter Frishauf, founder of Medscape, was honored with the Connect2Hope Award for decades of innovation in health and advocacy.
Fern Mallis, creator of New York Fashion Week, received the Connect2Vision & Culture Award, presented by designer Kenneth Cole, for her leadership in storytelling and Alzheimer’s awareness.
The evening also featured tributes to Alan Patricof for his long-standing dedication to Alzheimer’s causes, alongside performances and moments of solidarity that underscored the power of community.
