Dan Thomas is the Chief Communications Officer at the United Nations Global Compact, where he leads global communications, media relations, and strategic events to engage business leaders in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. With over two decades of experience, he previously led communications for the Presidents of the 70th and 71st UN General Assembly sessions and for the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit. A former BBC and Reuters journalist, he has also held senior roles at UNICEF and GAVI, driving impactful messaging across climate, health, and sustainable development.
