Grace Fu Hai Yien
Minister for Sustainability and the Environment of Singapore
Grace Fu Hai Yien is Singapore’s Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations. With over two decades of political leadership, she has held key cabinet roles, including Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Leader of the House. A former corporate executive and trained accountant, she led PSA’s Southeast Asia and Japan operations before entering politics in 2006. As the first woman in Singapore to head multiple ministries, Fu champions sustainability, public health, and global trade. She is also a member of the Global Leaders Group on Antimicrobial Resistance and continues to shape Singapore’s role in climate diplomacy, innovation, and inclusive governance.
