Hanyuan (Karen) Wang is a pioneering climate tech entrepreneur and founder of Climind, a data-as-a-service platform delivering actionable climate intelligence powered by AI. Recognized as the first Chinese woman named a UN SDG Young Leader, Karen builds cutting-edge tools to support sustainable decision-making across developing economies and global markets. A Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua and researcher at Imperial College London, she focuses on climate finance, voluntary carbon markets, and nature-based solutions. Formerly with Carbonbase, Microsoft, and Merrill Lynch, Karen brings a deep background in data science and ESG. She also serves on the board of UN Live—The Museum for the United Nations—and champions the preservation of the Bai dialect from her ethnic roots in China.
