Keith Rabois

Managing director of Khosla Ventures

Keith Rabois is a leading American technology executive, entrepreneur, and investor, currently Managing Director at Khosla Ventures. A core member of the legendary “PayPal Mafia,” Rabois worked alongside Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Max Levchin, Reid Hoffman, David Sacks, and Roelof Botha — a group that went on to launch Tesla, SpaceX, LinkedIn, Palantir, Affirm, Yammer, and more. He held senior leadership roles at PayPal, LinkedIn, and Square, where his operational expertise helped scale products that transformed global commerce and connectivity.

Rabois co-founded Opendoor, revolutionizing real estate, and later launched OpenStore to reshape e-commerce for small businesses. He also served as a General Partner at Founders Fund, one of Silicon Valley’s most influential venture firms. Over two decades, he has backed and advised iconic companies including Airbnb, Palantir, Yelp, YouTube, Lyft, Ramp, and DoorDash, several of which became multi-billion-dollar enterprises. Ranked multiple times on Forbes’ Midas List, Rabois is known for spotting disruptive ideas and scaling them into industry leaders.

Educated at Stanford University (BA, Political Science) and Harvard Law School (JD), he forged his path with Peter Thiel at The Stanford Review, later shaping the early PayPal team. Today, at Khosla Ventures, he continues to mentor entrepreneurs and invest in fintech and AI-driven startups. Renowned for his unapologetically direct style and sharp strategic instincts, Keith Rabois remains a defining figure in Silicon Valley’s story.
