Honoree Details

Leonardo Párraga is a Colombian peacebuilder, human rights advocate, and the visionary founder of Fundación BogotArt—an award-winning youth-led platform that democratizes art for social transformation in Bogotá and beyond. A Harvard-educated policy expert, Leonardo has spent over a decade advancing community empowerment through creativity, nonviolence, and alternative education. He co-founded Juventudes Por La Paz and led campaigns like Letters for Reconciliation, bridging citizens and ex-combatants post-conflict. He currently serves as Lead Trainer for UNAOC’s Young Peacebuilders, Digital Youth Engagement Officer at CIVICUS, and is a Youth Sounding Board member for the European Commission. Leonardo is a recipient of the Youth Carnegie Peace Prize and 1 Billion Acts Hero Award.
