Lewis Bollard is the Program Director for Farm Animal Welfare at Open Philanthropy, where he leads global efforts to end factory farming and reduce animal suffering. A Yale Law graduate and Harvard alum, Lewis previously served as Policy Advisor to the CEO of the Humane Society of the United States. With experience spanning litigation, consulting at Bain & Company, and international advocacy, he brings legal insight and strategic vision to philanthropy. Through evidence-based grantmaking and cross-sector collaboration, Lewis has helped shape one of the world’s most influential programs for advancing animal welfare and ethical food systems.
