Bob Rae is the President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and Canada’s Ambassador to the UN. A seasoned diplomat and former Premier of Ontario, he has dedicated his life to advancing human rights, international cooperation, and global justice. Rae has led critical work on Indigenous reconciliation, the Rohingya crisis, and sustainable development, and has served as interim leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. A Rhodes Scholar, human rights advocate, and accomplished author, Rae brings decades of political leadership and diplomatic experience to global governance at a time when inclusive, principled cooperation is more vital than ever.
