Susan Rockefeller is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, conservationist, and impact entrepreneur whose work bridges sustainability, social innovation, and storytelling. As Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Musings Magazine, she curates ideas and innovations that champion conscious consumption and a more sustainable future. Her films, including Food For Thought, Food for Life, Striking a Chord, Making the Crooked Straight, Mission of Mermaids, and Sea Change, have aired on HBO, PBS, and the Discovery Channel, addressing urgent issues from ocean health and climate resilience to food justice and trauma healing through art.
A passionate philanthropist, Rockefeller serves on the boards of Oceana, Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, the We Are Family Foundation, Southampton Arts Center, and the Land and Garden Preserve.
