Vick Tan is a passionate advocate for youth mental health. Inspired by personal experiences with the impact of mental health challenges, he co-founded Fish Hut, a Presidential Volunteer Service Award Certifying Organization that improves access to fishing as a tool for well-being and environmental connection. Vick also leads Fish Hut’s Ambassador Program and Fish Hut Builder Program, expanding mentorship and awareness through schools and community initiatives. His efforts have been featured by outlets including News12, Fox9, and CBS News. He has also spoken on the mental health benefits of fishing at the 2024 United States National STEM Festival and the 2024 UN Action and Awareness Week.
